upgraded every bodies blogs. should all be mostly the same admin has changed the look

for the sake of look and updatability,  changing the site to planet on the front page with little else is on the drawing board of ideas.

i’m very keen on microblogging too. like twitter. perhaps twitter can be intergrated into the side of planet.

expansion of mail. the mail system works well but only if it has been setup for the user.

under the hood:

i want to rid myself of apache, and use cherokee for all my web needs.

or at least just h3. a reinstall of linux with less software to clutter up everything is needed too.  my server will be redesigned for web, file serving and tv viewing and recording (mythtv) with some low noise and power mods for my planned relocation to southland

other news:

my homebrew mac is running well, one expensive dualcore dosbox machines etc dosbox ftw. and ultima VI hurray, master of orion II.

for anyone new to podcasts or would like to get into it. radio new zealand does one for all their programmes i suggest subscribing to it in a media player which can do podcasting (im using banshee on debian) and getting this way up every saturday, its an awesome show tune in with the radio or something at lunch time if you cant be stuffed with podcasts. bbc also offers them for most of their shows. i subscribe to a science one and digital planet.

i urge you to make your friends and acquaintances use gmail and gtalk.
